Write Naked exercise.

I admit – I haven’t written naked – I got down to my T Shirt and I got interrupted.
I sit in my bedroom and I hear a knock on my bedroom door. It has to be one of my daughters.
“Mom, can I come in? I have a question.”, from the older one.
“Can you wait a while?”, I ask.
“No. I need you.”
In they both come….”Why are you in bed? Where are your clothes? Are you tired? Are you sick?”
I tell them I am trying to do my writing.
“If you aren’t sick, are you undressed because you are going to get in the shower?”
“No, not right now…what do you need me for?”, I ask.
“Can I have a snack?”, the younger one asks.
“Sure, go ask Dad to help you get one.”
“We can’t. He is out in the back yard.”, the older one tells me.
I get my clothes on and go downstairs to get their snacks.
I come back upstairs, start to remove some of my clothes and I hear knock, knock, knock.
“Yup!”
“Can you help me study?”, asks my older daughter.
“Now?”, I ask.
“Well, yes.”
“Can you wait for Dad to help you?”
“He’s in the bathroom.”
She comes in and sits at the end of my bed while I ask her the questions on her study guide.
She is all set and out she goes. I can hear her walk down the stairs and stop at the bottom.
”Hi Dad!”, she says.
He asks her, “Where’s your Mom?”
“UHH!”
I give up …..I can’t write like this!
I get dressed. I’ll have to try some other time and in some other place….maybe I’ll lock myself in the bathroom.
Hmmm! I am not sure that will work….they’ll just come knocking…I can’t explain it.
Dad is in the bathroom and they come and find me.
Mom is behind a closed door, the children must knock and they have an immediate need.
Similar to a cat sitting in front of a closed door….you let them out and the next thing you know they are sitting on the outside
